Fashion Friday: 5 Things

I am often asked which—of all the Shells I have created— is my favorite. I am not sure I am supposed to admit to it, but I do have a favorite. It’s the Allie Shell for the Big Pack Bags.

I am fortunate to have a job that allows me to do so many of the things that I love, and one of these is traveling.  However, as much as I love to travel, it can get a bit lonely on the road from time to time.  During an especially long trip to China I was really missing my family.  After hours of roaming through a fabric market on a hot airless day in search of something great, I spotted a bright cheery yellow fabric that stood out in a sea of a thousand other fabric swatches.  In that moment I knew that little swatch of sunshine would become “Allie,” named after my youngest daughter.
My hope is that when you carry your Allie Shell it brings that bright ray of sunshine into your life just as “my” Allie does for me.
